Making its latest appointment, leading winter risk management business, De-ice (www.de-ice.co.uk) has brought Sarah Drury into the role of sales manager.
In the role, Sarah will be responsible for heading up sales across each of the company’s offices, as well as growing her team and bringing new executives into the business.
With a strong sales background, she has come from Wilmington Healthcare, a business information publisher, where she worked for 21 years – her last role as sales operations director. During this time, she saw the company grow from being a small family-run business to part of a global, multi-million pound plc. She played an integral role in the development of the business; helping to establish best practice and growing a significant sales force from the ground up. She has also previously worked for McGraw-Hill, an international publisher of business magazines.
Mark Lopez, managing director at De-ice, said: “We are thrilled that Sarah has decided to join us during this critical growth phase for the business; her sales knowledge and experience are second-to-none.
“This news follows hot-on-the-heels of the appointments of Iain MacDonald in our new Scotland office and Graham McCallum into our operations team.”
Sarah Drury added: “After spending a long time with my previous employer, I felt the time had come for a new challenge, and I was keen to join somewhere that I knew I could make a real difference.
“I am excited by the profile of the De-ice business, and the potential opportunities that lie ahead and am looking forward to further growing the sales team.”
