De-ice (www.de-ice.co.uk), one of the UK’s longest-established and leading gritting and snow clearance specialists, has made two new appointments to its administration and sales team – in the run up to Winter 2015.
The company, which is looking towards considerable expansion over the next five years, has taken on Joe Hill and Hannah Bareham as administration staff – each tasked with supporting the busy sales team.
Joe Hill has joined as the office and administration manager, responsible for putting new procedures in place to help build on the accreditations that the company already holds. Joe is used to running a busy household as well as working her way up the Hilton Hotel chain where she was duty manager at their Braintree Hotel. Her last position was as a project administrator specialising in training for adults and youngsters following unemployment or redundancy. Her natural flair for customer service and organisational skills will be well utilised at De-ice.
Hannah Bareham joins as sales and operations admin assistant – providing support to the sales team. With a background in radio presenting and working for a publishing house, Hannah has excellent communication and customer service skills. She has already proven to have a good eye for detail and is currently working on tenders for both the public and private sector.
Commenting on the appointments, Mark Lopez, managing director at De-ice, said: “With winter round the corner, we have expanded and made new appointments in the support and administrative parts of the business. Joe and Hannah will be an asset to the team and will be on hand to offer the necessary assistance to our sales team.
“We need to make sure clients’ sites are set up and operational, for what – we predict – will be a busy season ahead. Now is the time for everyone (including us) to plan, and be ready. No one can predict the weather next winter.”
